SOCIAL REMARKETING CAMPAIGN FOR ORIGIN COFFEE

We took our footage and combined it with existing content to create an impactful series of YouTube ads.

The Brief

Origin Coffee tasked us with creating a suite of thumb-stopping remarketing ads, driving customers to their feature coffee subscription, a leading subscription model that allows you to experience 52 coffees from around the world.

They were looking specifically for a series of YouTube ads, from 6 second bumpers through to full 1 minute long ads. This had to use existing content from their libraries as well as footage we had shot for them previously. Oh, and it had to be delivered in three weeks.

The process of making a social media ad

Having worked with Origin before, our team were already familiar with their brand and knew it inside out. That meant that we were ideally placed to create something punchy and engaging.

Aromatic archive

We were provided access to a wealth of archive footage, from sustainable sourcing to roasting and home brewing, to create a narrative that took you from bean to cup.

A sensory spin out

By animating fast-paced flick-throughs of the coffee cards and reinforcing key elements of the offering with bold on-screen type, we were able to hook the viewer with an eye-catching sensory adventure.

Differentiating the deliverables

The ads were delivered at 60s, 30s and 15s, each with a different approach designed to avoid scrolling and skipping and ultimately drive customers to sign up to the subscription model.

Who are Origin Coffee?

Origin Coffee is a specialty coffee roaster, independently owned and founded by Tom Sobey in 2004. At their core they are passionate about sourcing incredible coffee, sustainably and just like us, they are a Certified B Corp. They have grown into one of Europe’s leaders in this space, servicing trade and customers across the continent.
