The Process of Creating ENGAGING YOUTUBE ADS
Since 2019, Surfers Against Sewage have held their annual Plastic Free Awards to celebrate those fighting the growing plastic tide.

THE CREATIVE
To bring this product and story to life, we wanted to nail the creative. To do this we talked at length about how we can use the location to create a high end but customisable background for the interview. Once we decided a greenscreen was the way to go, we moved on to brainstorming what the perfect covering footage would look like. We thought using 3D renders to break down the technical aspects of the cup would elevate the visuals and add a layer of value to the end video.

The Ideal Case Study
After wading through moodboards and storyboards we settled on Eden Project for the case study to demonstrate the practicality of the Returnable Cup. With its beautiful surroundings and diverse spaces, Eden Project was the perfect space to place the Cup.

The Shoot
We took time to iron out the creases and to set up the interview space perfectly. The covering footage was comprised of Macro nature shots and scenes of Dan (CEO and Founder of Circular & Co.) using the cup in the Biomes, demonstrating how customers will use the product.

Post-Prod Perfection
The magic happened when our edit team decided to use one of the macro shots as the backdrop for the interview shot. With the subtle movement and colouring the backdrop added a level of sophistication and class to the video that really captured the essence of the product we were helping to launch.
