The Process of Making an Social Media ADS
Having worked with ProQ before, our team were already familiar with their brand and knew it inside out. That meant that we were ideally placed to create something punchy and engaging.
1
Planning, Movement and Style
To create a suite of videos that delivered on the brief, we wanted to use dynamic shots that placed the viewer all up in the ProQ Rodeos grill. To do this we wanted to shoot the food in a sleek and glossy way, part of this came from how the plates were dressed but also in the camera’s movement.
2
Rigging up
To achieve the shot we had planned in the creative stages for the opening of the video, we had to design a rig that would allow us to repeat a shot and its movement multiple times. Take a look at the sketch of what we planned.
3
The Shoot
With a kick-ass rig ready to tackle the shoot day we headed on up to the location and got set up. After a few changes to the rig due to the shooting location, we were able to capture the opening montage as we wanted and we think it came out pretty well!
