Unveiled the Magic with Buttermilk’s Animated Social Video

We worked with confectionery giants Buttermilk to create an animated video social media post for their Veganuary campaign.

The Brief

Buttermilk is of the UK’s leading creators of guilt free chocolate, making sweet treats that everyone can enjoy. We were tasked with creating on-brand, funny unskippable animated videos for use across Buttermilk’s social media platforms.  A long-term client of ours, they approached us to create visually bold and energetic ads and content as part of their campaign around Veganuary.

The process of making an animated social media video

Having worked with Buttermilk before, our team were already familiar with their brand and knew it inside out. That meant that we were ideally placed to create something punchy and fun. Using their bold branding, we set about ideating each of the four content types and gathering the assets needed to bring them together. These videos used Buttermilk’s existing visual assets alongside our own creations to help keep costs down and turn things around quickly.

The result

We made these videos really pop and they went down a storm on social media, with the Buttermilk team delighted with the creative. So much so, they further developed some of these concepts into other marketing materials.

Who Are Buttermilk?

Buttermilk are a family-run business, headed up by Tracy and David. Proud of their Cornish roots, it all started in a traditional fudge shop the heart of Padstow. The company now make deliciously indulgent award-winning chocolate and fudge treats, as well as a leading range of lip-smacking plant-based chocolates too.

What is an Animated Social Media Video?
