Reaching For the Sky with TECGirls
The Brief
This event was designed to bust the door wide open on the world of TEC so young women can explore careers in aviation and aerospace. The campaign existed so that TEC Girls could publicise the event using photography and the videos we were brought on board to make. We had 3 key videos to deliver and social edits to go alongside them.
They asked us to suggest some ideas for the social content and we know that chatty vox pop videos go down really well, especially when there’s an interesting topic being discussed.
So with our mini presenters ready to go, we got ready to quiz the event go-ers and gather some interesting and thought-provoking content!
How we worked across the day to capture epic content.
Our team worked across the busy site at RNAS Cudlrose to capture the event and all the excitement along the way. We are long term partners with TecWomen and TecGirls, so knew what was needed to get this project off the ground.

What did the brand want to achieve
- Case Study – This video was designed to be a great asset for securing future events and showing how the event worked and what was there
- A hype reel – The purpose of this video was to purely to excite the viewer and build hype around the event, we had two presenters on the day who helped lead us around and try the different stands!
- Event Showcase – this video would demonstrate the value the event had, to differentiate it we would hear directly from girls and parents who had come to the event.

About TecGirls Reach for the Sky
TEC Girls is a non-profit organisation based in Cornwall, UK, that aims to inspire young girls to pursue careers in technology, engineering, and creative digital fields (TEC). They offer workshops, resources, and events to show girls that TEC is for anyone and to challenge gender stereotypes in these industries.
We have worked with them on a few projects so far and love creating content that will help to increase awareness of this and encourage girls everywhere to get interested in TEC.
